Higgins and his wife, Sabina Higgins today 12th March 2025. The invitation recognized Philomena’s exceptional contributions to Irish country music, her dedication to charitable causes and her tireless work within her community.

The afternoon at Áras an Uachtaráin was a celebration of Philomena’s remarkable career and her unwavering commitment to making a positive impact on the lives of others. President Higgins and Sabina Higgins hosted a lovely afternoon tea, followed by an afternoon of entertainment featuring talented musicians.
